Our plan of action:
Amplify Black Voices: “Inclusion is making sure people's voices are being heard; being in the conversation, not just the topic of the conversation.” - Massah David.
Silence is not an option: As a barbershop that is owned by non-black POCs, we have always been a space where we welcome and foster dialogue with people from all walks of life in hopes to find a common ground and dismantle white supremacy together.
Continue to foster relationships that promotes diversity and inclusion. We will continually seek to collaborate and include Black voices in our partnerships and business.
Create and share resources to help local small businesses and our local communities to enact and impact change with actionable steps to build a more inclusive, long-term strategy moving forward.
Continue to make the time and space to learn how to be actively anti-racist—and use our platform to create change within our industry.
